To be the Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Udhayanidhi Stalin? He declares

Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, son of Chief Minister MK Stalin, has dismissed speculation regarding his potential elevation to the role of Deputy Chief Minister. He emphasized that within the DMK government, all ministers function as deputies to the Chief Minister.

Addressing the media, Udhayanidhi stated, "There have been numerous reports about the Deputy Chief Minister post. I have previously mentioned to the press that every minister in our government acts as a Deputy Chief Minister."

Highlighting his commitment to his current role as the DMK Youth Wing Secretary, he remarked, "For me, the Youth Wing Secretary position is my favorite, regardless of any other post."

Looking ahead to the 2026 elections, Udhayanidhi expressed confidence in the DMK's prospects. He asserted, "Our target is the 2026 elections, where we aim to replicate our success from the previous elections. Regardless of the alliance, our leader will emerge victorious, and MK Stalin will resume his role as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. It's our DMK alliance that will triumph in the 2026 assembly elections."

Encouraging active participation from youth wing members, Udhayanidhi urged them to leverage social media effectively. He advised, "I urge all our youth wing cadres to dedicate 10 minutes each morning and evening for social media engagement."
