Day 7 box office for "Deadpool and Wolverine": Rs 100 crore is a piece of cake in India

**'Deadpool and Wolverine'** has enjoyed a stellar performance at the Indian box office, showing remarkable results in its opening week. Launched on August 2, the film, the 34th entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, garnered approximately Rs 90 crore nett during its first week. This impressive start included a robust opening weekend collection of Rs 65.95 crore nett.

The film's daily box office performance over the first week was as follows: on Friday, it earned Rs 21 crore; on Saturday, the collection rose to Rs 22.65 crore; and on Sunday, it brought in Rs 22.3 crore. The following days saw a decline as expected: Monday brought in Rs 6.75 crore; Tuesday added Rs 6.3 crore; Wednesday saw Rs 5.65 crore; and Thursday contributed Rs 5 crore. This cumulative performance amounts to a total net collection of Rs 89.65 crore for the week.

As 'Deadpool and Wolverine' moves into its second weekend, the film is expected to see an increase in collections. The buzz surrounding it remains high, partly due to the film's engaging plot and various intriguing cameos, which keep audiences eager to see more. Moreover, the film faces minimal competition from new Bollywood releases this week, such as 'Ulajh' and 'Auron Mein Kahan Dam Tha,' which are not anticipated to make a significant impact on the film’s audience share.

Industry analysts are optimistic that 'Deadpool and Wolverine' will collect around Rs 50 crore nett in its second weekend. If this prediction holds true, the film's total collection will surpass the Rs 100 crore nett mark within the first ten days of its release in India. This achievement positions 'Deadpool and Wolverine' as the biggest A-rated Hollywood opener in the country and sets it on a path to potentially become the highest-grossing A-rated Hollywood film of all time in India.

Globally, the film is rapidly approaching the Rs 5000 crore gross milestone, marking an extraordinary achievement for the Marvel Cinematic Universe and demonstrating its continued dominance in the international box office arena.
