Uorfi Javed has become a name synonymous with boldness, unpredictability, and an unwavering ambition to carve out a niche for herself in the world of fame. She isn't just a social media sensation; she’s a phenomenon, and she's determined to be "very very famous"—a goal she seems well on her way to achieving.
In an exclusive interview, Uorfi opens up about her journey, ambitions, and the unique approach that has set her apart from the usual crowd of influencers. Unlike many who rely on traditional routes to fame, Uorfi's rise has been anything but conventional. She’s not your typical influencer who sticks to promoting makeup, fitness, or lifestyle tips. Instead, she’s made a name for herself by dressing in outlandish outfits crafted from the most unexpected materials—garbage bags, ropes, bandages, pizza slices, and even glass. Her fashion choices have often sparked controversy, drawing both criticism and admiration. But for Uorfi, these reactions are all part of the plan.
When asked about the secret to her success, Uorfi’s response is simple yet profound: consistency and an unshakeable belief in her vision. "I never backed out," she says. "People discouraged me so much. Everyone has always discouraged me, everywhere. Everyone was against me. But, I still did what I did. No matter how my state was. Even if I was mentally not doing fine, I still got up and did what I did. Consistency has given me this platform." This tenacity, she believes, is what has propelled her to where she is today, and it’s what will continue to drive her forward.
But Uorfi is more than just a determined individual—she's a master of manipulation, or as she puts it, "the art of deceiving people." She takes pleasure in keeping her audience guessing, never quite revealing whether she’s being sincere or simply playing a role. "I will not call a spade a spade. I will call a spade whatever I want to call it. The thing is, you guys will never know if I am lying or telling the truth," she says with a mischievous grin.
Her approach to life and fame is refreshingly unapologetic. Uorfi has no qualms about bending the rules or pushing boundaries to achieve her goals. "I am trying to build a world for myself where I am very very famous. I create my own opportunities. Even if it involves anything controversial, I don't mind. As long as I am not harming anyone," she says, emphasizing her willingness to do whatever it takes to reach the top.
Her latest project, a series on Prime Video titled "Follow Kar Lo Yaar," is yet another step in her journey toward fame. When asked if the show is scripted, Uorfi, true to form, playfully dodges the question, leaving viewers to wonder what’s real and what’s not. She admires celebrities like Janhvi Kapoor and Nora Fatehi for their looks, yet she’s not shy about admitting that she, too, has altered her appearance. "I have been getting fillers and botox for a very long time. I don't think that body modification is wrong. I don't think getting surgery or fixing something is a taboo," she says, challenging societal norms around beauty and self-image.
Uorfi’s approach to life is marked by fierce independence and a refusal to be held accountable to anyone but herself. She acknowledges that this attitude might not be the best way to live, but she doesn’t seem to mind. In fact, she finds a certain beauty in emotions like sadness, guilt, and anger. "I like to romanticize sadness. I love sadness. There's such beauty in sadness that it teaches you. It's not in your happy times that you learn something. It's when you are sad. When the anger subsides and only the sadness remains, that's when you learn things," she muses, offering a glimpse into the complex emotions that drive her.
Despite her self-assured exterior, Uorfi is also deeply introspective. She understands that her ambition sets her apart from others and acknowledges that not everyone shares her relentless drive for success, fame, and money. "Not everyone can be as ambitious as me, which is also ok. Not everyone wants success, fame ,and money. Some people just want to exist. I don't want to just exist. I want to rule," she declares with conviction.
But will Uorfi ever stop? She has her sights set on nothing less than the status of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. "Shah Rukh Khan is my benchmark. The day I feel like I am the Shah Rukh Khan of the world, [I'll hang up]," she says, hinting at the possibility that her journey might one day come to an end—but only on her terms. Even then, she adds with a characteristic wink, "As long as Shah Rukh is giving me half of his estate and wealth, then why not? I would love to retire."
In the end, Uorfi Javed is more than just a provocateur or a social media star. She’s a hustler, a dreamer, and a force to be reckoned with. Whether you love her or hate her, you can’t ignore her—and that’s exactly how she wants it. As she continues to blaze her own trail, one thing is certain: Uorfi Javed is here to stay, and she’s not going anywhere until she’s achieved everything she’s set out to do.
