At the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2024, held in Dubai on September 15, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan turned heads with their dazzling, blingy outfits. Aishwarya, whose presence at the event was highly anticipated, won the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her compelling portrayal of Nandini in *Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2*. The recognition underscores her remarkable performance in Mani Ratnam's epic historical film, which is based on the classic Tamil novel by Kalki Krishnamoorthy.

The event was a special one for Aishwarya and Aaradhya, who had traveled to Dubai for the occasion. They were warmly welcomed upon their arrival, and the evening saw them walking the red carpet in style. Aishwarya, known for her elegance and charm, posed for photographs and took selfies with her fans, who had gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of the star.

During the awards ceremony, Aishwarya's winning moment was notably captured by Aaradhya, who was seen recording her mother’s acceptance speech on her phone. Aaradhya, dressed in a chic black and silver outfit, added a personal touch to the memorable occasion.

The awards ceremony also saw Aishwarya seated next to Chiyaan Vikram, her co-star in *Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2*. Their on-screen chemistry in the film was a highlight, and their camaraderie was evident during the event.

In *Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2*, Aishwarya showcased her versatility by playing two distinct roles: Nandini, the central character, and Mandakini Devi. Her portrayal in both roles received widespread acclaim, further solidifying her position as one of the leading actresses in Indian cinema.

As Aishwarya received her award from director Kabir Khan, it was a moment of pride not just for her, but for her fans and the entire team behind *Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2*. With her next project yet to be announced, Aishwarya's triumph at SIIMA 2024 serves as a reminder of her continued excellence in acting and her enduring appeal in the film industry.
