Mass exodus: Entire 25-person crew resigns from game producer Annapurna Interactive after argument with owner


The entire design team at Annapurna Interactive, a renowned game publisher celebrated for its impactful indie titles like *Stray*, *Solar Ash*, and *Neon White*, has resigned en masse following a significant dispute with the company's owner, Megan Ellison. The crisis began when President Nathan Gary and his executive team, who had been negotiating with Ellison to spin off the video game division into a separate entity, encountered an abrupt withdrawal from the talks by Ellison. This unexpected turn of events led Gary and several top executives to step down in protest. Their departure triggered a cascading effect, resulting in nearly 20 additional team members resigning in solidarity, leaving the company in a state of upheaval.
