Sandip Ghosh served as the principal of RG Kar Medical College from February 2021 until his transfer in October 2023. The discovery of the trainee doctor’s semi-naked body in the hospital’s seminar hall on August 9 has further fueled the crisis, spotlighting severe lapses in the hospital’s operations and management.
