Trump's former adviser claims that Melania despises him and wants Kamala Harris to succeed

Anthony Scaramucci, the former White House Communications Director under Donald Trump, has reignited public interest with his recent claim that Melania Trump, the former First Lady, harbors a deep dislike for her husband and is quietly supporting Kamala Harris, the Democratic vice-presidential candidate, in the upcoming U.S. presidential election. Scaramucci, who was famously dismissed from his role just 11 days after being appointed, made these provocative comments during an interview on the MediasTouch podcast.

In the interview, Scaramucci suggested that Melania Trump might be more enthusiastic about a Harris victory than anyone else, including himself. "Maybe Melania Trump. That could be the only person I think of. Because she hates [Trump]. I judge the hatred of Donald Trump by the Melania standard," Scaramucci remarked. His statements have drawn significant attention, particularly because of Melania's noticeably low profile during her husband's recent political endeavors. She has been conspicuously absent from many of Trump’s rallies and fundraising events, appearing only at select occasions, such as a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where Trump survived an assassination attempt.

Scaramucci further emphasized the extent of Melania’s purported disdain for Trump by comparing it to his own wife’s feelings. "My wife hates Trump as much as Melania. I've met one person that actually hates Trump more than Melania," he added, underscoring the intensity of the alleged rift within the Trump household.

Scaramucci’s brief and turbulent tenure as Trump’s Communications Director remains a notable chapter in the tumultuous early days of the Trump administration. His appointment led to the immediate resignation of then-Press Secretary Sean Spicer, who reportedly objected to Scaramucci’s hiring. Just days into his role, Scaramucci became embroiled in a public relations disaster, leading to his swift dismissal by President Trump on July 31, 2017. The decision to fire Scaramucci was strongly backed by John Kelly, who had just taken over as Chief of Staff and questioned Scaramucci’s credibility and suitability for the position.

In response to Scaramucci’s claims, Trump has consistently dismissed them as the bitter rantings of a disgruntled former employee. According to reports from the Daily Mail, Trump has suggested that Scaramucci holds a personal grudge against him, which has fueled these sensational allegations.

As for Melania Trump, she has largely retreated from the public eye in recent months. Her focus has reportedly shifted to her son Barron Trump’s college plans, and she has spent much of her time in New York, away from the political limelight. Despite being less involved in her husband’s 2024 presidential campaign, Melania is set to release her memoir, *Melania*, on October 1. The book is described as a "powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has forged her own path, overcome challenges, and defined personal excellence." This memoir could provide deeper insights into her life and perhaps clarify the rumors surrounding her relationship with Donald Trump.

Scaramucci's remarks have undoubtedly added fuel to the ongoing speculation about the dynamics within the Trump family, especially as the 2024 election approaches. Whether these claims hold any truth remains to be seen, but they have certainly intensified the scrutiny of Melania Trump’s role in her husband's political future.
