Watch: Jr. NTR video calls fan battling cancer and reassures his mother

Jr NTR recently touched hearts with a deeply compassionate gesture when he video-called a 19-year-old cancer patient named Kaushik. The emotional video of their interaction quickly went viral on social media, spreading warmth and inspiration. Kaushik, who is courageously battling blood cancer and receiving treatment at a hospital in Bengaluru, had expressed a heartfelt wish to meet the acclaimed actor. His mother, determined to fulfill her son's dream, reached out to several prominent figures, including Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and of course, Jr NTR.

Responding to this heartfelt plea, Jr NTR took the time to personally connect with Kaushik via video call. During their conversation, Jr NTR offered encouraging words that uplifted Kaushik's spirits. “You look great when you smile. Stay strong. You have to watch *Devara* after you recover. Cinema comes later, but first, you must get better for your parents,” Jr NTR said, emphasizing the importance of Kaushik’s health over anything else.

Kaushik, visibly overwhelmed with joy, expressed his amazement at speaking with his idol, although he expressed regret that he could not meet Jr NTR in person. The video not only highlighted Jr NTR's genuine kindness but also provided a source of motivation and hope for Kaushik during his difficult times.

The interaction comes ahead of the release of Jr NTR's much-anticipated film, *Devara: Part 1*, scheduled to hit theaters on September 27. The film, directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, features Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in significant roles. The movie’s release is highly awaited by fans, adding to the excitement surrounding Jr NTR’s continued success and his impactful presence both on and off the screen.
