Beautician, 50, went missing in Rajasthan, and severed body pieces were found two days later

In a deeply disturbing case, the dismembered body parts of a 50-year-old woman, identified as Anita Chaudhary, were discovered in plastic bags in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, following her disappearance on October 28. Anita, who worked as a beautician, was last seen after closing her beauty parlour that afternoon, prompting her husband, Manmohan Chaudhary, to file a missing person report the next day when she failed to return home.

As investigators delved into the circumstances surrounding her disappearance, they learned that Anita had developed a relationship with a man named Ghulamuddin, also known as Gul Mohammad, who owned a shop in the same building as her parlor. Authorities identified Ghul Mohammad through call records from Anita's phone, leading them to investigate his connection to her disappearance.

According to police reports, Anita had taken an auto-rickshaw from her workplace before going missing. The driver of the auto was interrogated and revealed that he had dropped her off at a location in Gangana, where Ghul Mohammad resided. Following this lead, police officers arrived at Ghul Mohammad's residence in Gangana. Upon questioning his wife, who had been away visiting her sister for three days, they uncovered chilling information. She disclosed that upon returning home, her husband confessed to murdering Anita and indicated that her body had been buried behind their house.

In response, police utilized a bulldozer to excavate a 12-foot pit behind the residence. During the search, they unearthed the dismembered body parts, including the torso, hands, and legs, all wrapped separately in two plastic bags, highlighting the gruesome nature of the crime.

Anita's son expressed anguish and anger, alleging that the accused had deceived his mother, leading to her tragic death. The body has been sent to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death and gather further evidence.

In the aftermath of this shocking discovery, law enforcement has launched a manhunt for Ghul Mohammad, conducting raids in various locations throughout Jodhpur in an effort to apprehend him. The police are treating the case with urgency, as the community grapples with the unsettling reality of such violence occurring in their midst. The investigation continues, with authorities determined to bring justice to Anita Chaudhary and her grieving family.
