Dehradun accident: Students partied, raced BMWs, and were beheaded in a high-speed crash

The devastating crash occurred around 1:30 a.m., and eyewitness accounts indicate that the force of the collision was so severe that it caused catastrophic damage to the vehicle and inflicted fatal injuries on several passengers, reportedly decapitating some. The sole survivor, Siddhesh Agrawal, owes his life to a timely emergency response triggered by his iPhone, which automatically sent an SOS alert to the police control room moments after the crash. His father, Vipin Agrawal, is urging the public to avoid jumping to conclusions about what led to the tragedy. He stressed the importance of empathy and requested that people refrain from spreading baseless rumors, highlighting the deep grief shared by all six families affected by the accident. "This is a time of profound sorrow, not for speculation," he told *India Today TV*.

The identities of the deceased have been confirmed: Kunal Kukreja, 23, who hailed from Himachal Pradesh, and five others from Dehradun—Atul Agrawal, 24; Rishabh Jain, 24; Navya Goel, 23; Kamakshi, 20; and Guneet, 19. However, officials have not yet disclosed which educational institution the students were attending, leaving some details about their background still unclear. The investigation continues as authorities try to piece together a clearer picture of the events leading to the fatal crash. The police are also conducting toxicology tests to determine if alcohol or any other substances were a factor in the accident.
