It also marks the 20th international award bestowed upon PM Modi by a foreign nation.
The ceremonial reception at Bayan Palace included a guard of honor, with Kuwait's Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, personally attending. This visit is notable as it marks the first official visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Kuwait in 43 years.
