Price leaks for the Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra suggest that these phones may cost more this time

Samsung has officially confirmed that it will be hosting its much-anticipated annual Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, 2025. The event will see the launch of the latest flagship smartphones in the Galaxy S series – the Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. There have also been rumors circulating about the introduction of a fourth variant, likely to be called the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim, which would offer a more compact option for users looking for a high-end yet lightweight device. As the event draws nearer, the European pricing for the new devices has been leaked, giving a clearer picture of what to expect in terms of cost.

The Samsung Galaxy S25, in its base variant with 128GB of internal storage, is expected to retail for around 964 euros in Europe, which roughly converts to Rs 85,000. Higher storage models, including the 256GB and 512GB versions, are expected to be priced at 1,026 euros (Rs 91,000) and 1,151 euros (Rs 1,01,000) respectively. The price point for the Galaxy S25+ appears to be slightly higher, with the 256GB variant likely starting at 1,235 euros (approximately Rs 1,09,000), while the 512GB model will possibly be priced at 1,359 euros (around Rs 1,20,000).

The flagship of the series, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, will carry an even higher price tag. The entry-level price for the S25 Ultra is expected to be 1,557 euros (approximately Rs 1,38,000), with the highest-end variant featuring 1TB of storage likely to reach 1,930 euros, which is around Rs 1,70,000. This pricing places the Galaxy S25 Ultra in the premium category, in line with its expected top-tier features, including enhanced camera capabilities, cutting-edge display technology, and powerful performance.

In addition to the pricing details, the leaked information also offers insights into the expected storage configurations and color options for the Galaxy S25 series. The standard Galaxy S25 is likely to come in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB variants, providing options for a wide range of users. On the other hand, the Galaxy S25+ might skip the 128GB option and focus on larger storage capacities, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to offer an impressive 1TB variant for those who need vast amounts of storage for media, apps, and other content.

The color options for the Galaxy S25 series are also worth noting, as Samsung is expected to offer a variety of stylish and vibrant finishes. For the Galaxy S25 and S25+, users can likely expect options such as icy blue, mint, navy, and silver, providing a good mix of fresh and classic tones. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be offered in more premium hues like titanium black, titanium grey, and titanium silver blue, underscoring its high-end nature and its position as the flagship model.

Along with the hardware and design enhancements, Samsung is expected to introduce the latest iteration of its custom Android skin – OneUI 7 – at the Galaxy Unpacked event. OneUI 7 is anticipated to bring further improvements to the user interface, with new features aimed at providing a more seamless, intuitive, and personalized user experience. These updates will likely include enhancements in multitasking, performance optimization, and customization options, all while maintaining the clean and user-friendly design that OneUI is known for.

In the lead-up to the launch, Samsung has already started offering pre-reservations for the Galaxy S25 series in India. Customers can secure their pre-orders for a nominal fee of Rs 1,999, which includes early access to the phones and additional benefits worth Rs 5,000. The pre-order payment is fully refundable if the reservation is canceled, making it a risk-free way for customers to ensure they don’t miss out on the new devices. Those who pre-order through Samsung’s official website will also gain access to exclusive color options, the ability to customize RAM and storage configurations and receive the highest trade-in value for their current devices.

The launch of the Galaxy S25 series is set to be a milestone for Samsung, as the company continues to lead the smartphone market with innovations in camera technology, performance, and user experience. With a strong emphasis on customization and personalization, the pre-order offers give potential buyers an enticing opportunity to secure their devices early and enjoy a tailored experience. Whether it’s the sleek design of the Galaxy S25, the larger display and enhanced battery life of the S25+, or the flagship features of the S25 Ultra, Samsung is poised to offer a range of options that cater to a variety of user preferences and needs.
