Chhaava narrates the life and struggles of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and his resistance against the Mughal empire. Akshaye Khanna takes on the role of Aurangzeb, the formidable Mughal emperor.
