When a troll says, "Vijay is better than your husband," Jyotika responds and then deletes

Actor Jyotika recently reacted to a fan’s comment comparing her husband, Suriya, to actor-politician Vijay. The fan suggested that Vijay was better than Suriya, and Jyotika initially responded with a laughing emoji before later deleting both her reply and the original comment. However, Reddit users quickly noticed and took screenshots of the deleted interaction, leading to discussions online. Some users debated whether her reaction was sarcastic or lighthearted, while others defended her, appreciating her response as a supportive wife.

One Reddit user criticized the comment directed at Jyotika, saying, “Audacity to tell a woman that another person is better than her husband.” Another user questioned the intent behind her emoji, wondering, “Is she laughing sarcastically or didn’t she understand what he told?” A third comment praised her stance, stating, “I have to respect her as a wife. Women are not submissive. They will shake the heavens for the men they love.”

During promotions for her upcoming Netflix series Dabba Cartel, Jyotika spoke about sharing a home with another superstar. In an interview with Screen, she was asked whether she and Suriya carried their own dabbas to work, referencing the theme of her Netflix project. She humorously replied, “I guess we leave the superstardom outside the door when we enter home. There, we are just parents to our kids. And when it comes to dabbas, the real priority is our children—it’s more about what goes into their school lunchboxes in the morning.”

Dabba Cartel, a crime thriller centered around five women running an underground business, is set to stream on Netflix from February 28.
