Gopalakrishnan also disclosed details of his private discussions with Sreemathi, claiming that she had directly conveyed to him that a woman’s dignity was at stake in the matter. He alleged that she was advised by her legal counsel that the case would not stand in court, and therefore, they agreed to settle it through a public apology.
