Ranveer Allahbadia has made his return to Instagram after more than a month of social media silence following intense backlash over his controversial remarks during an episode of comedian Samay Raina’s YouTube show, India’s Got Latent. The popular YouTuber, also known as BeerBiceps, faced widespread criticism, legal trouble, and online outrage over his obscene comments, leading him to take a step back from public platforms.
Breaking his hiatus, Allahbadia shared a heartfelt post featuring multiple pictures with his team, family, and pet dog. One of the images depicted him sitting alone with his laptop, while another showed him taking a selfie with his grandmother. His caption read: "Thank you to my loved ones. Thank you, universe. A new blessed chapter begins – Rebirth..."
In addition to his Instagram post, he also uploaded a video on his YouTube channel, where he addressed his audience, expressing gratitude for their support and announcing the return of The Ranveer Show (TRS). He promised that viewers would witness a “new Ranveer” as he embarks on a fresh chapter in his career.
"Thank you so much to all my well-wishers. The past few months have been very difficult for my family and me. Your positive messages helped me overcome this phase. I faced so many things—online hatred, threats, numerous media articles—but it was your positivity that helped me," Allahbadia shared in the video.
He went on to acknowledge the support he received from celebrities and professionals from various fields, including cricketers, actors, and bureaucrats. "All the guests who have appeared on my podcast, I am grateful for your positive messages. In the lowest moments of life, you realize that success is not the only thing in this journey; failure is also a part of it. Today, I am here to express my heartfelt thoughts only."
Reflecting on his time away from social media, Allahbadia said he gained a new perspective on life and his responsibilities as a content creator. "During this break, I learned to live with stability. I understood that people in our country see me as family. They consider me as their son, their brother, and I sincerely apologize to all of them."
He assured his audience that he would be more mindful of the content he produces moving forward. "I will be more responsible for the content I create in the coming years. This is my promise to you all. I have understood my responsibilities towards my audience, my team, and my family."
Seeking forgiveness from his followers, he humbly asked for another chance. "If possible, please give me space in your hearts once again. Please give me another chance. I love my work. I love content creation and podcasting. I love exploring our country’s history and culture."
Allahbadia also spoke about his struggles with mental health during this period, revealing that he found solace in meditation and spiritual practices. "While my mental health deteriorated due to this phase, I turned to meditation and sadhana. I don’t see this phase as a punishment but as a transformation, a learning experience. God has given me so much so far, so I will consider this as a gift from Him—something that came into my life for the sake of my growth."
The YouTuber’s return marks a turning point in his career after the controversy that led to legal trouble. His remarks about parents and sex on the YouTube reality show sparked public outrage and legal scrutiny, leading to widespread calls for accountability.
