The investigation into Shane Warne’s death has taken a startling turn after a Daily Mail report claimed that a key item was secretly removed from the Australian cricket legend’s villa in Thailand, where he was found dead. According to the report, a senior police officer at the scene was allegedly instructed to remove a bottle of Kamagra—a medication used for erectile dysfunction that contains sildenafil citrate, the same active ingredient as Viagra.
The anonymous police officer revealed that orders to dispose of the pills came from higher authorities and suggested that senior officials from Australia might have been involved in the cover-up.
“We were ordered by our seniors to get rid of the bottle,” he told Daily Mail. “These orders were coming from up high, and I think senior officials from Australia were also involved because they did not want their national figure to have an ending like this.”
He further claimed that the official report, which stated that Warne suffered a heart attack, omitted details about any substances found at the scene.
“No one will come out to confirm the Kamagra because it remains a sensitive subject. There were lots of powerful invisible hands behind all this,” he alleged. “It was a bottle, but we don’t know how much he took. There was also a puddle of vomit and blood at the scene, but we cleared the Kamagra as we were told to.”
Warne, who was 52, passed away in Thailand while on holiday with friends. An autopsy conducted by Surat Thani Hospital concluded that he died of natural causes and ruled out any foul play. However, these new revelations have raised fresh concerns about whether all relevant details of his passing were fully disclosed.
