Sikandar: Salman Khan's film "isn't a remake," according to director Murugadoss

Salman Khan's upcoming film, Sikandar, is generating significant buzz ahead of its release on March 28, 2025, coinciding with Eid al-Fitr. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film promises a fresh narrative, marking a departure from the trend of remakes. Murugadoss emphasizes that Sikandar is "a completely original story," meticulously crafted to offer audiences a unique cinematic experience. 

The film boasts a stellar cast, with Salman Khan in a dual role as Sanjay Rajkot and Sikandar. He is joined by Rashmika Mandanna as Saisri, alongside Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar in pivotal roles. This ensemble brings together some of the industry's finest talents, heightening anticipation for the film.
